ABVP-HCU in collaboration with Lokmanthan Celebrates Janjatiya Gaurav Divas

Bhagyanagar: ABVP-HCU in collaboration with Lokmanthan commemorated the Jayanti of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, recognized nationwide as Janjati Gaurav Divas, with great fervor and enthusiasm. The event was graced by J. Nanda Kumar Ji, National Convenor of Prajna Pravah, as the Guest of Honour. A series of activities, including a vibrant poster exhibition and cultural programs, marked the celebrations.In his address, J. Nanda Kumar highlighted the invaluable contributions of tribal freedom fighters like Bhagwan Birsa Munda to Bharat’s independence movement. He underscored the systematic neglect of these heroes in mainstream narratives, stating, “There are individuals who question Bharat’s existence before the invaders and refuse to even acknowledge the word ‘Bharat’. Yet, Bharat’s history and culture predate any external influence”.Reflecting on Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s life, he praised the revered leader’s courage and valour, inspiring generations to stand up for justice and freedom. He also emphasized the need to honor such unsung heroes and revive pride in Bharat’s rich cultural and historical legacy.As part of the event, he unveiled the poster for Lokmanthan, a prestigious conclave of nationalist thinkers and cultural enthusiasts. He described Lokmanthan as a celebration of Bharat’s cultural heritage and a platform to honor unsung heroes and the rich culture of Bharat, scheduled to be held at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad, from November 21–24, the conclave will feature participation from Bharat and international delegates. J. Nanda Kumar invited the campus community to actively participate, calling it one of India’s largest cultural festivals.Along with him, ABVP National Secretary Shravan B Raj, and others were also present on the stage.
